Now, the design and color options of the Red Magic Gaming Pad have been announced. The tablet was expected to be launched in two screen size options. However, the latest design reveal does not hint at the different display sizes.

The design of the Red Magic Gaming Pad has been revealed on the official Weibo post Ahead of its launch in China on September 5, the tablet will be available in two color options – Dark Knight and Silver Wing (translated from Chinese), with a partially transparent design on the back panel.

The vertical portion of the rear panel of the Red Magic Gaming Pad is covered by a transparent cover, with the brand logo placed in the center of the panel, the camera unit placed in the top right corner, and below that, an LED flash unit and customizable circular RGB lights are placed vertically.

The front camera slot on the Red Magic Gaming Pad is recessed into the right bezel. The flat display has a fairly large and even bezel. On the right side is the power button, and on the bottom edge are the speaker unit and a USB Type-C port.

Red Magic Gaming Pad Confirmed It will feature a 2.8K (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) display with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and a 16:10 aspect ratio, and is said to be the “first naked-eye 3D tablet” with 90Hz AI-powered eye tracking. Red Magic has revealed that the Red Magic Gaming Pad is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will pack a 10,100mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support. The tablet will support 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage and will ship with Android 14-based UI.

The Red Magic Gaming Pad will feature a four-speaker system and “PAD Magic Cooling ICE 2.0 9-layer cooling” (translated from Chinese) technology. In terms of optics, it will feature rear and front camera sensors of 50 and 20 megapixels, respectively.
